Grace's Little Rebel Sewing and Quilting Machine has built-in laser sensors for precise stitch regulation, making this straight-stitch machine ideal for quilting frames. You can easily tackle any project under the Rebel's needle with its 13" of throat space, high-capacity M-class bobbins, and multiple LED lights. 13" THROAT SPACE
With 13" to the right of the needle and an 8.5" high throat space, the Rebel gives you ample room to finish projects of all sizes. Plus, your fabric won't get bunched up under the throat. With all this space, you can expect to complete large sections of your quilt faster. The Little Rebel measures 21.75" wide by 7.5" deep and 16" tall.
BUILT-IN STITCH REGULATOR
Enjoy stitch regulation on a domestic machine without paying long arm prices. The Rebel comes equipped with a built-in stitch regulator. The machine's motion is monitored via the optical encoder in front of the needle plate. This intelligent feature tells the motor how fast or slow to stitch moving too quickly, while quilting can reduce the quality of the stitch regulation.
BUILT-IN AUTOMATIC BOBBIN WINDER
The built-in bobbin winder on the Rebel lets you wind your large M Style bobbins quickly. The machine's bobbin cam is set so the bobbin will wind completely before it shuts off. Since the bobbin winder works independently of the machine, you can wind your bobbin while you're quilting. The Little Rebel sports a precision bobbin winder that gives your bobbins perfect tension every time. Grace recommends 50-weight polyester thread on a cone for best results when winding a bobbin.
LARGE M-STYLE BOBBINS
The bobbin case location on this machine has been designed for quick and easy accessibility. Changing your bobbin is now more user-friendly than ever. The Little Rebel uses larger M Class bobbins that hold approximately 90 yards compared to standard bobbins with 40 yards. This allows you to quilt for longer before changing or refilling your bobbin. The machine includes three bobbins, but you can never have too many; you can even use prewound bobbins in the machine.
CONVENIENT CONTROLS
At your fingertips are a variety of convenient buttons to help you. Enjoy the convenience of a start/stop button, a reverse button, and a programmable needle up/down button. Along the top of the machine, you can adjust your stitch length from 6 to 18 stitches per inch or change your sewing speed. The "Q" button lets you turn the stitch regulator on or off for sewing or free-motion quilting.
FOOT PEDAL & STITCH CONTROLLER
The Rebel includes a foot control with a 7-foot cord for when you are in sewing mode. But for those who plan to use the Rebel with a frame, it also includes a controller that has a start/stop button and needle up/down button that can be used in place of your foot control. The controller attaches to your handlebars, keeping those needed functions at your fingertips. It also helps to prevent you from having to reach up to the machine.
SEWING & QUILTING
Jump from straight stitch to free motion in a flash to spend more time doing what you love. Its motor is designed to help you finish all types of projects, even when using fabric like denim, leather, or even canvas. For free-motion sewing, it has the standard hopping foot, and in sewing mode you can use any of the four included feet: zipper foot, quarter-inch quilting foot, quarter-inch foot with a guide, and a straight stitch foot.
LED LIGHTING
Super bright, color-balanced daylight LEDs light your workspace, reducing eye strain and fatigue. This machine is ready to give you more light where you need it most. The bobbin light illuminates the hook assembly area, while the LED throat lights create an even brighter, shadow-free workspace.
NEEDLE PLATE
Easily transition from sewing to free-motion quilting on the Rebel with the included darning plate. Unlike most plates that must be changed by removing screws, the Rebel has a magnetic plate that effortlessly slips over your feed dogs. Once you are ready to start sewing again, simply pop the plate off, and you are good to go. The straight stitch sewing plate also has 1/4", 1/2", and 3/4" markings to get that perfect seam width.
STITCHES PER MINUTE
Every sewist needs a machine that can keep up with them, and the Little Rebel can do just that. The powerful motor in this machine produces up to 1600 stitches per minute, but you can also slow it down to sew at 180 stitches per minute. The Little Rebel can give you professional tier stitching whenever you sit down.
PRINTED THREAD GUIDES
While the Rebel doesn't have a built-in needle threader, it does have printed threading guides directly on the machine's body. Simply follow the images to thread your Rebel with ease. Included with your accessories is a needle threader and inserter, too.
EASY TENSION ADJUSTMENTS
Manual tension dials give you greater control of your stitches. The setting dial is easily adjusted to create a perfectly balanced stitch based on your fabric type and weight. Ranging from one to four on the knob, these lines allow quilters to dial in their tension settings incrementally. If the bobbin thread appears on the right side of your fabric, then the needle tension is too tight, and if your needle thread is too loose, it will appear on the wrong side of the material.
DUAL THREAD MAST
Quilt and wind bobbins simultaneously on the Rebel with its dual thread mast. This great feature saves you time and energy! You no longer have to stop quilting just to wind a bobbin. With the dual-thread mast, you have a dedicated space for your bobbin and quilting threads. Please note the thread mast is fixed, i.e., it doesn't lower or swivel but can be removed for travel or safekeeping.
